Welcome to the Crash Music Festival

For the first time we will be offering camping at the Crash Festival 2011. There are a limited number of Camping tickets available...

Due to limited space on site, Weekend + camping ticket holders, or child tickets accompanied by an adult with a Weekend + camping ticket are the only poeple allowed to camp on site - camping tickets are limited, and once they are gone they will be taken off sale - so avoid disappointment and get yours now!

We do still have a few caravan / motorhome spaces available - so it is vital that you contact us if you wish to bring one. Anyone arriving onsite with a caravan / campervan / motorhome that has not booked in advanced will not be allowed onsite.

What time can i arrive to set my tent up?

The campsite will be open from 2pm on friday afternoon. The main arena will open and the music will kick off at 7pm

What nights can i camp and when does the campsite close?

All Campers must have a 'weekend + camping' ticket and this allows you to camp friday and saturday night. The campsite closes at 12pm on sunday lunchtime so you will need to have your tent packed up by then.

Can I light a fire on the Campsite?

No due to the close proximity of tents no naked flames will be allowed.

Im bringing my caravan - Is there electric hookup available or can I bring a generator?

There are no electric points available, you are able to bring a generator however:
- Only diesel generators are permitted
- Suitable and appoved fire extinguishers must be available.
- Switched off after 10pm & no unauthorized PA systems may be used on site.

Can I bring my pet?

No pets will be allowed on site, so please leave them at home.

Are my valuables Insured?

Unfortunately our insurance does not cover your valuables, any left in the campsite or in vehicles are left at your own risk.

What facilities are on site?

There will be toilets and mains water point available on the campsite

Are there any showers?

We are not able to provide showers on site; however showers are available at Abermule Community Centre Saturday 8am - 12.00pm. There are separate showers for men and women but not separate shower cubicles. There will be a shuttle bus available at £1 per head or it is just a 10 minute walk from the campsite.

I'm bringing a caravan/campervan

Unfortunately we have to limit the number of caravans and campervans we allow on site. Space will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis - when booking your tickets, not when arriving on site. Please send us an e-mail via the website with your details & ticket confirmation number to reserve a caravan / campervan space otherwise we will not be able to accommodate you on site and you will be directed to a local campsite.

I'm bringing a tent

On arrival on site you will be asked for your weekend plus camping ticket or on-line confirmation and you will be directed to the main festival area. You will be asked to stop off at the Box Office to collect your wristbands before proceeding onto the main festival campsite. There you will be asked to unload your tent and move your car to a parking space away from the camping area (but still on the main festival site). Tents must be spaced 3m apart. This is a fire regulation and ensures that we accommodate as many tents as possible.

What if we buy a camping ticket and then can't get in?

Anyone able to book weekend plus camping tickets will automatically be allocated get tent space. If all spaces are booked we will no longer sell the weekend plus camping tickets, and we will advise you to contact one of the local campsites. If you are bringing a caravan you must also contact us to book your caravan space.

I'm disabled, what arrangements are there for me?

If you are registered disabled and require either caravan or tent space close to the main arena you must ask us when booking. We have a few reserved caravan spaces, we can arrange for tent space to be reserved close to the main festival area if notified in advance. We also have on site parking for people with disabilities. Please ensure you bring your blue badge with you so that our Stewards will allow your vehicle access on site. If you are not a blue badge holder and are a day visitor you will be asked to park in the day visitors car park & we will try to get you a space as close to the festival site as possible.

Can I sleep in my car?

No camping is allowed in the car parks and no sleeping in parked cars is permitted. This area will be regularly patrolled throughout the night and anybody found doing so will be removed with no readmittance and no refund.

Can I take alcohol on to the campsite?

You can take alcohol onto the campsite as long as you are 18 years or over, however glass is not permitted and alcohol cannot be taken into the main arena. Organisers reserve the right to remove anyone caught in possession of any glass items from the site and refuse admission.

Is there anything else cant I take onto the campsite or main site?

You are also prohibited from bringing any fireworks, weapons and other dangerous objects onto the site.

What happens if I misbehave?

The festival organisers will not tolerate unreasonable behaviour. Persons causing problems will be removed from the site immediately and will be banned from using the facilities again. We hope that such action will not be necessary, and all caravanners and tenters will have consideration for fellow campers.
